Tech for Good roundtable: How PropTech can enable integrated communities

28th May 2019

9:30am - 12pm

Description

The final session of our ‘Tech for Good’ series of roundtable events, hosted by our partners Good Relations, will explore how PropTech could create better integrated communities within and around the built environment.

The benefits of PropTech goes beyond reducing costs, increasing efficiency and increasing profits as we’ve seen in the property industry.  PropTech can have positive impacts at a national level on the economy, environment and in society.

This roundtable session will look specifically at how it can bring together communities and the economic and social benefits this can bring. According to the Government’s Integrated Communities Strategy Green Paper  well-integrated communities are not just more harmonious places to live, but there are enormous economic and social benefits including; more opportunity and prosperity, and lower levels of prejudice and hate crime.

So how can PropTech help? We’ve seen a number of new services and solutions aimed at the office space, co-living spaces and the care sector, which encourage better communication between occupiers/tenants and encourage collaboration.  This has created more engaged communities who can support and help each other.  So what if we could use this technology for good, to help with social inclusion, loneliness and well-being?

Join PropTech’s, property owners/landlords, local authorities and public sector organisations to share your thoughts and experience on this important topic.

Please note, spaces are limited to no more than 2 people per company.
