Leveraging technology for the UK’s built environment
The Opportunity for PropTech report is a research document commissioned by the Ministry for Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) and co-produced by the UK PropTech Association (UKPA) and PUBLIC. It explores how technology can be better leveraged across the UK’s built environment, with the aim of bridging the gap between technological capability and real-world adoption.
The report was published in January 2025. It provides an evidence base to support a more coordinated approach between industry and government, setting out where PropTech can play a meaningful role across the property lifecycle and how the ecosystem can be better enabled to scale.
