We hosted a Roundtable event alongside our Founding Member Search Acumen and invited Lynne Nicholson, Head of Data Products & Services at Land Registry, who shared insight into the 5 year strategy.
We crossed the Irish Sea to Dublin for a two-day trade mission involving meetings with Irish PropTech founders such as; Healy Hynes, (Beagel), Tom Courtney (Property Basecamp) and Gavin Branga (Access Green).
We invited UKPA members to join a Roundtable to discuss the implications of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on their businesses and what steps should be taken to ensure compliance come May when GDPR is enforced. We were joined by Data & IT lawyer Matthew Johnson from Freeths and Rajeev Nayaar (Founder of Fixflo and non-practicing lawyer) who gave a few pointers on what to consider when reviewing businesses processes.
